Character: Moogle from Final Fantasy This was a costume for Halloween one year. I sketched out what I wanted first, then made a simple dress tracing one of my existing dresses as a pattern. It turned out exactly as I planned the first try, which is worth noting because that almost never happens. It's comfy and warm, as it's made of polar fleece. I've started using my sock glue to keep the arm and leg warmers up. After wearing it again to Youmacon 2008, I found that the slippers were hard to walk in, and sewed in elastics to keep it on my heel. For Penguicon 2009 I remade that hat and made it much nicer.
