Character: Chai Xianghua from Soul Calibur II In my continuing love of Xianghua and her third alternate costumes, I just had to do this one. This is the most detail-intensive costume I have done so far. It involved a lot of staring squinty-eyed at the game screen, sketching out designs. I'm especially proud of the flowers painted on the skirt, since I've never really painted before. Bonus that I managed to get away without using a wig. Those are clip-on bangs, and I did a lot of twisting with my hair. The Soul Calibur sword itself is not quite finished yet. I still need to do some detail work on it and finish the pommel. I'd also like to make her calligraphy brush joke weapon.
